About Us

Here at LLMS, our passion is engaging children to learn Mandarin with confidence, in a natural environment with a focus on fun and enjoyment. The founder of LLMS, Angelina He, is a native Mandarin Chinese language speaker. Angelina was born and raised in China. She received her Degree of Economic and Management in China and gained her Montessori International Diploma in London, and has worked with children ever since. Angelina continues to improve her skills with on-going training in early years education as she believes that this will help serve the children better. As a result of her experience both in and outside the classroom, Angelina has developed a passion for teaching and working  with children. She enjoys teaching and exposing Chinese culture and language to children, and believes this will serve them well in the future. Angelina truly believes that an active learning environment and teaching methods play a vital role in learning Mandarin. Students learn faster and with ease whilst experiencing a fun and game filled environment. She was amazed at what children were able to learn given the right  materials and play opportunities. She wants to provide this kind of creative and supporting environment for young children to learn Mandarin. LLMS was founded in 2015 with these attributes and goals.

“Mum and Me” provides a great opportunity for kids and their parents to learn Chinese and have fun together. Children learn through free play, singing, art work and at the same time each child has the chance to interact individually with Angelina. Since attending the class my son has gained confidence in speaking and listening Mandarin, and he really looks forward to the class each week. Highly recommended!

Yan - Mum to a 22 month old boy

My two daughters love coming to their Mandarin lessons with Angelina every Friday. Each week they seem to learn through a new craft or fun activity which keeps them interested and helps them to recall what they are being taught each week. I often find them singing the Chinese songs they have learnt later that week – so what they are learning is certainly sticking in the memory. My older daughter tells me that “ Angelina is the best teacher”. What more you can ask for- praise indeed.

Jane - Mum to two girls, 6 and 8 years old

The classes are really good. Emily enjoys it and we love the variety of materials Angelina uses in the classes.
